The ClamBook: A Notebook Powered By Your Smartphone
Coming this holiday is the ClamBook — an incredibly thin and light notebook powered by your iPhone or Android device. The ClamBook will let you do all the things you normally do on your smartphone but in a more efficient and cozier way. You’ll get to play games, watch movies, browse the web, or do some work, but this time, on a large widescreen display with a full-sized keyboard, 3D cinema sound and a multi-touch trackpad (for Ice Cream Sandwich phones). With select Motorola phones compatible with Motorola’s Webtop™ application, you’ll also be able to enjoy a mobile desktop experience with the firefox browser, a complete file manager and web app access. And while powering from your smartphone, it will charge it — so you won’t have to worry about draining your battery.
